Winter 5K

The annual Chautauqua Striders Winter 5k Series is a fun and freezing age-graded, five race series. Races start and finish at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. Age-grading levels the playing field for all runners by providing the runner with the percentage value of an ideal time for his or her age and gender. All five races follow the same scenic route by Chautauqua Lake.

St. Pat’s Dash

The St. Pat’s Dash is a 3-mile run/walk held in March. Runners dress in green to kick off their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations . The race starts and ends at the Northwest Arena. Runners have the opportunity to earn awards, prizes, and points toward our Runner of the Year Series. All participants receive a “swag-bag”, a t-shirt, refreshments, and snacks.

Dan Feather Memorial 5K

The Dan Feather Memorial 5K is held annually in memory of Chautauqua Striders’ late co-founder and Jamestown Police Officer, Daniel Feather. The event raises money to support youth programming and the Dan Feather Memorial Scholarship. Funds raised also ensure that our athletic programs are affordable for all kids. The Dan Feather Memorial 5k is a part of our Runner of the Year Series.
